Success for the Phoenix Allstars
We went to the Brighton Competition at the begining of June. We won some more trophies, this was a National Competition organised by Future Cheer. Thank you to all of the Mum's and Helpers who made this possible with fund raising and practical support. We need to work harder to compete at this level and more people will be needed to form a larger squad at all age levels. If you would like to join, look at our try out page

On Sunday 1st March at the BCA Western Classic 2009 in Newport two squads of cheerleaders entered into the Dance section of the competition. This was the first time the squad has competed in any competition and followed four months of hard work by all concerned.
The results were absolutely tremendous the Junior Squad had 16 girls in it and came away with the FIRST PLACE TROPHY for the Junior Dance Medium section. The Senior Squad had 8 girls and 1 boy dancing in a very competitive section, they came away with a SECOND PLACE TROPHY in the hard fought Senior Dance Small competition.
This was an absolutely tremendous result for what is a new squad just 5 months from the first try-out for the squad.
All of the squad would like to thank the BCA staff for their hard work in helping us get to the competition and all of the other squads for a really great competition and for their support during the day.
